Feb. 21st, 2007 @ 12:43 pm Irish Rock Band Forming
Current Music: Flogging Molly - If I Ever Leave this World Alive
Irish rock band (The Pogues/Flogging Molly/The Tossers) forming in Orange County, CA (USA) and looking for experienced musicians with a love for this music.

Here's what we need
Fiddle
Accordion
Mandolin
Banjo

I play rhythm guitar and a little mandolin and accordion.

It's a definite plus if you can sing (especially in parts.)

We're looking to play around the south land at Irish pubs and festivals. Hopefully this will lead to a larger tour and bring us to Ireland.

If you're interested drop a line!

Got a kickass punk rock drummer girl who's interested.

Just curious--why do you ask? :]

Just curious! I'm a percussionist myself. :)

Good luck with your endeavor!

Aye, it is. I'm a bodhran player as well as snare + tympani, doumbek, and tongue drum.

Nice! In my other band, the Poxy Boggards myspace.com/poxyboggards, we have a Bodhran player, Tappy. He's awesome!

I'm not sure I know what a tongue drum is. Just googled it... and I'm still not sure I know what it is.
